I had a friend do a little work to my sled. He powder coated the mono shock skid and put a 2002 SRX wiring harness in it. just had to drill a hole in the gauge pod for the DCS light. excited to get it back. just need some fresh snow

I bought the wiring harness and CDI for it dirt cheap. It was a no brainer.

Thank you Chris. Will post pics of the skid when I get the sled back. I should have it back in a week or so.
It runs very good too and has a fresh top end. I'm going to run it with good fuel with a splash of Torco each fill up for cheap insurance. Next rebuild I want to have the cylinders and heads grinded on.

My racing days are long over. I just had both my hips replaced last fall. I used a 19/40 combo for 500 feet with 8bu 00 weights 20/40 would work too depending on what's in your clutches
I would start with a 20/39 for 660.
My buddy had a piped and lightened up viper. He would always be able to run a little taller gearing because the viper is lighter than the SRX.

did you have to go with 8 tooth drivers for 1.35 inch studs? Thats a pretty tall stud and was wondering about clearance issues. If you have 8 tooth drivers, that changes everything.
