So the 21-40 is gonna be no good in 1320ft go morr toward the stock gearing tony this is an impriver eunning at 9800 rpm motor probly makes high 180-low 190 for hp so 23-37 on ice should be my beat ratio

I would trust YAMMIGOD he has enough experience and wont steer you in wrong direction. What you need here is experience and YAMMI HAS PLENTY. you should beat your opponent out of the hole with 21-40 but they will catch up and pass you, as they are making the same power as you are and you would know how fast your improver will accelerate, if you stop accelerating while your opponent is still gaining speed they will pass you. you may be tied at the 1000 mark but they will be able to just go faster. There is always testing, run your 21-40, 23-42 as you said you had in another post, then run the 23-37. Record times and speed and go from there....or there is what is known by another. Best of Luck. Post your results.

keep in mind this event is a radar run, your running for top speed so it really ain't important beating anybody out of the hole. travis and i talked last night on fb. 3:16x (yammie tony)
Test 24/37 24/38 23/39 70 link your going top speed in 1320 ft
If you can leave your chain case open to make some changes quick until you find the right ratio

Must be 10 tooth drivers or you are getting about 10% overdrive which I doubt.Hey guys i ran 23/40 and only ran 118.6 then went to a 21/40 like 383 stroker dean told me and went up to 121.9 seems to like the lower top gear and strugglind with bigger top gear

what everyone doesn't understand is that when you raise the rpm of the engine it automaticly will go faster with a given gearset. you need a lower gearset with a modded motor to keep it in the powerband. what works with a stock engine at 8500rpm doesn't work with a modded one turning 9800-10,000 rpm
