anniversary sled

my dealer said they should know on thurs. its dealer only, so it'll probably makes its way to the website around friday. Considering the apex gt is close to $11k, I think we are going to soil our pants when we see the price of the anniversary edition. I have a feeling it'll be more than just new graphics, but we'll sure a heck be paying for whatever it is. Also, if it really is something good, you can bet it'll be a 1 per dealer thing, making it even more expensive and allowing the dealers to charge whatever they want. Let me tell you if that sled has a turbo, the dealers are gonna want at least $15k for it. we'll see soon.

I was at the Minneapolis show yesterday and according to the reps Yamaha will not have an anniversary model. The Apex GT is their new Flagship model. They did mention the 50 year anniversary but there are no official plans for a 50 year sled as the sleds have only been out since ( I don't remember what year he said 1969 or 1970 I think).

From the web site:
The 1968 SL350

The root of all Yamaha snowmobiles, this stylish, white machine was introduced as a test model with technology gleaned from more than a decade of motorcycle manufacturing.
