The engine on my 2004 viper ESR ? [electric start reverse] is toast, will the engine from a 2003 manual start fit, , is the stator the same ie electric start / manual start, starter ring on primary clutch, any thing else different

The only difference will be the harness due to the DCS on the 04. You either have to use the 04 head and harness and guage with your swap, or use all the 03 harness, guage stuff. All other parts are the same. If the head on the 04 is good i would use all the DCS harness stuff.
