I have a 98 SRX 600. I just rest the helix back to stack. 3/3, it was set at 6/1 and was getting 9000 rpm. Now I am getting around 8700 but it seems that the top end is not there. what have all of you foud to be the best setting. the sled is all stock except 144 studs on 1 inch track.

I owned 2 600 SRX,s & they both overrevved like crazy. Get a w-w-w primary spring & run your helix at 3 & 3...60 degrees. Sled should run at 83-8400 rpm.

i also have a 1998 SRX 600. I was having the same problem, lacking top end and srunning at 9000. My secondary was a 6-1 also. I put it back to stock 3-3 according to the manual ans is now at aprox 8600 but pulls alot harder. Primary has stock setup.
