Electric start compatibility

Would the electric start assembly off of an 00 sxr 700 fit an 01 sxr700?
The main question here; is the electric start system from the 180w, single headlight system compatible with the 300w, dual headlight ignition system?

Yes, any probation starter will fit any pro action sled. Only difference may be plug adapter to relay but wires are the same. I just hardwired when I had to.
