Low compression

Looking at an 86 vmax 540 to fix up/play around with. I haven’t seen it yet, but apparently everything except the motor is in top/great shape. He said the right cylinder has a low compression problem. He believe that it’s the rings that need to be replaced. Is there potentially any other problems with the motor I should be aware of?

I’ve been trying to find an older model srx, but this is all I can find. Need a summer project.
