05 rage speedometer bearing

you should register on ty4stroke.com as there are more tips on that sled over there.

a metric socket set, a set of metric allen keys and a #3 phillips screwdriver for tools.

i reccomend lifting the rear of the sled so the track is suspended off the ground. then loosen the rear axle nut. back off the track tensioners all the way. then remove the left side lower pannel. i personally remove the belt and secondary for more space but it can be done without removing it. you then need to remove the 2 set screws inside the tunnel holding the bearing on the shaft. then remove the bolt for the spedo reluctor. then you remove the spedo sensor mount and 1 more bolt to remove 1/2 the bracket that holds it in place on the tunnel. then if you are lucky the bearing slides off of the shaft easily. if not you might need a puller and a torch to heat it up to remove it. reassemble in reverse order with the new and all should be good.
