Well,
The 06's are making me trend toward a big bore and an Expert X. What is the word out there. I am really leaning toward "reliability", not just hp. numbers.
AAEN, HAUCK, BENDER, CPR, ETC. Who else is out there? Also, I see 780, 800, 835, etc. What would be the optimum displacement ya think?
Hey nothing against the 06's, but my Piper friggin fly's and I looking for the Delta 2 Rocket to add on.

I have heard A LOT of good things about the CPR kit, but have no experience running it. Also, the SRX bore is no bigger than the vipers...

The CPR kit is badass, send a PM to Jeff, his name on here is 'SIMONS CPR', he will answer any questions you have.

koodat I have your answer. I have a 835 bender bigbore srx and it absolutely rips. I would highly recomend this kit for its reliabilty. I was worried about that myself, but this thing acts just like the stock one but so much faster.
Now, if you would like to place your sled back to stock down the road for either selling or trading that would be impossible. My engine and all components are for sale but not sure if it would be direst bolt on to a viper.let me know if interested and we'll figure it out. Thanks gordy

What is the price of the different big bore kits?
I've seen anywhere from 1500 to 2300.

I will not say one kit is better than another because you have race & trail kits & performance is more about jetting-clutching & gearing than brand of kit. I chose to go with Aaens 780 kit because we have had good reliable luck with his Viper pipes & in the spring his kit only cost $1300.00 done.
The problem with the 780's has been the forged Wiseco pistons & needing ring replacments around the 2000 mile mark. Hauck has worked with Wiseco & now has a thicker walled piston to help with the cold seize issue of the past & now thicker higher strength rings PN #9865M07300. The pistons are heavier but in a trail motor you will not notice a differance & both have huge rip (Way more than I need for riding in the bush).
Aaen 778, Benders 835 or 1000, Bikeman 778, CPR 778, Hartman 778, Hauck 778, MadMax 778 or 944, MrViper700 778, SRXspec 778 all have kits that I hear good things about. You are better off to call them all & decide for yourself over having someone blow brand X smoke up your A$$ like you get over on amsnot.
Hartman & Spec are running the BB with the SLP pipes so I would lean there direction & Spec is a lot closer to you. Bushman
