Hello gang, I have a 97 VMAX 700SX with only 2000 miles on it, got it from a friend for a very good price. I had the skid redone, along with the carbs cleaned and a new ripsaw 2 track installed 150 miles ago. I have needed reverse a few times in the past and decided to bite the bullet and purchase from a local seller. It is a used kit off a sled that came OEM with it.
I have searched throughout the forum but cannot find any info on how easy it is to install. I have seen the docs in the tech section but wanted some actual feedback. I am mechanically inclined as I have built 2 jeeps from a bare frame. My fear is to take it apart and not know what to do. Does anybody have a write up with actual pics and explanations. It could be a long shot, but thought I would ask. My local dealer said they could install it for about $140 usd, but if I can save that and do it myself then I am ahead that money.
The one questions I do have is do I need to install the buzzer?
Thanks in advance guys.
