Who all out there uses one of those 911 clutch outer covers? Are they worth the money and do you really notice a difference?

I run one on my Sidewinder, it helps beef up the clutch for more HP plus its nice to adjust the sheave within 15 thou of the belt.
I have one and I really like it... I agree with sled... I feel like its a nice addition to the primary. With the added adjustment and tight tolerance to the belt; I felt like I got a-little "smoother" engagement. I think its one of those things where if you're the type that really likes to dial/tune their setup you'll appreciate it. If not id prob pass... Mega bushing surface area is way nicer than stock also.

The price of these things kind of keeps me from buying one,but I have to ask just what is the advantage of tightening up the clearance of the sheave to belt tolerance?

I have one on my SRX I have had it on my 95 Vmax, 97 Sx my 02 SRX,01 SRX. It has 30k miles on it. Your belt life will increase because the bushing in the center will not allow your primary to bind or pitch. You should notice the sled will be a lot smoother at clutch engagement. I paid $110 in 1996.
