So im working on my formerly neglected SRX 600, the guy I bought it from tells me the kill switch is bad. So troubleshooting it the carb switch TORS is bypassed and they work together. Upon replacing the carb switch, which solved my problem by the way, while adjusting the idle, I went too far causing the threads to run out which pushed the carb switch via the spring on it to engage throttle. It just popped off, adrenalin must have kicked in cause I caught the sled, lifted it, and hit the key off. What a scary f-n moment. My wife comes over and said, holy shit, look at the garage floor. The carbide studs kicked out the sled slide and dug a 1/4 into my concrete floor when it fell.
But im alive and at least that part of the sled is fixed.
Last issue my tach. I tested every friggin wire, new used tach comes tomorrow, fingers crossed its just bad.

Scary, nice job saving yourself and the sled.
