I am not sure how close this is to for some of you and am going to extend my offer at Yamahas request.

Mr Sled, any chance Yamaha will be doing something like this in Michigan?

Kind of what I was thinking (wishing), Michigan has over 400,000 #$%&* sleds registered in the state & that is far & away the largest snowmobile market in the states that seems to be overlooked. :ORC

Either way I think its way cool of Yamaha & T/Y (MrSled) to offer T/Y members the chance to ride the new iron. :rocks:

I'd really like to see if all the hype is what it's made out to be. I've never ridden a 4 stroke... would like to check one out. I've ridden just about everything else....

I will be there. Made reservations months ago for our cabin to attend the Swift Diamond Riders Snodeo. Always go to test ride the new sleds. Was going to e-mail the club to see if the 06 Yami's were going to be there but have got the answer I want to here. Put my name into the hat, I can be there. How do you decide, that is tough one. Don't typically see alot of Yamahas on the trails in northern New Hampshire so there may not be many TY members that can make it. That will narrow the field for you.

It's great that TY gets such consideration from Yamaha.

Personally, I've successfully wrangled an invitation to the Yamaha demo ride in Brainerd, MN on the 17th and 18th. Simpler for me than New Hampshire since it's taking place at a resort about 5 miles from here.

How about east coast member NY_SXR700 ? I've never met Doug but he has had a lot of good T/Y helpful post over the years IMHO & I would like see what he would have to say about the new iron!

I will be there with 2 other yamaha riders.....if your still looking for someone...let me know...we will be there from wednesday march 2 to sunday march 5

I have made the selections for the NH 06 demo ride. I have contacted all of them at this point so please check your PMS. If you cannot make it please get back to me and I will pick a few more names. If you have not been selected, you may still attend the demo ride you will just not be guaranteed a spot. You must tell them that you are one of the selected 12 riders from Totallyamaha to represent the site. Yamaha will have the list of names. I would expect all of you take some notes and report back your likes or dislikes to the other users at the site. If you would like you can come up with your own ride review with the other users that will be attending. The event site is the Coleman State Park in NH. It is just outside the town of Colebrook NH. Here is the club that is hosting this demo. http://www.swiftdiamondriders.com/

Make sure you are on time. You ride will begin at 7:30am and will last until 8:30 when it will be open to the public. I would suggest getting there early. Remember these machines are very expensive prototypes so be careful and safe.

Enjoy this great opportunity.

Tom
