Hi All,
I took the drive shaft out of the sled and replaced the track. New bearing, seals. When I put things back together, the bottom gear in the chain case has about 1/4 or so of free space on the shaft. So it can move back and forth. I have all the correct parts back on in the correct order. I don't remember the space between the end of the shaft and the gear. Is this correct, or did I screw something up? The shaft is as far as it can go to the speedometer side of the sled and the bearing is against the back stop of the shaft. It does not move back and forth at this point. Thank you for the help.

Sorry it is a Phazer...
Pretty sure you’re fine. I had the same thoughts when I put mine back together and it’s working fine with that by of wiggle room
