Hey guys. I recently got another 01 srx 700 and it has a bender racing can on it. I found a stock replacement can but it's missing the aluminum heat shielding and yamaha doesn't have it listed as a part. Could I run the can without the shield ? Or use an alternative? Also wondering if anyone has any experience using the stock can with reverse because this SRX has a viper reverse kit install and I know the exhaust is tight in that area. Thank for any input
It will fit with a little "massaging"!

Got it to fit. Just had to remove some material from the chain case cover which I assume was for a battery on the viper sled it came from. God I live the sound of the stock can over the Fart can lol
