I have a 2000 Vmax Deluxe 500 that has a few inches of injector oil in the recovery tank.. The two tanks are actually one tank with a partition between the two. I noticed it over the summer and flushed out the tank and added new anti freeze and looked in the cooling system and it looked like just a little oil in the coolant at the top of the filler neck.. I cleaned it out pretty well and put it back together.... Well, I drove the sled 30 miles and looked at the tank and it looks like a couple of inches HIGHER with a LOT OF OIL in it????? I REALLY DONT THINK it's the tank. What do you think??? 4700 miles and never has been apart !!!

I seem to remember someone else having this happen. I dont recall the answer to the problem but will give a look around. Nice to see ya still around once in a while!!
