I recently sold one of my 02 Viper's to a buddy, that's much heavier then me(approx. 300lbs) I had all the shocks rebuilt and revalved for my weight (170) by Pioneer a little while ago. I am betting he will need at least heavier springs on the shocks in the skid. My question is, are their heavier springs from a different model, like one of the 2 up sleds, that he could use and possibly get a better price on in the used parts market. I am aware that there as "Big Boy" springs out there but I'm not sure where to find them. The alternative springs listed on the oem parts screen are very expensive and may not even be still available. Any input and advice would be greatly appreciated. GIL

im in the same boat as your friend... luckly i found a couple people on here with springs from a venture 2 up..
Thats what I would look for a 2 up skid from a venture in the 98 to 01 range and pull the shocks and springs from that. revalve the viper shocks add the heavier springs and should be good to go
