Looking at the arms from hiperf.com and wondering if I have to replace both or just the bent one I have? Do they look the same? Stronger? Thanks!

I have seen those before. Look decent, however the place that sells them suggested I still went with OE because I ride pretty hard.(he is not a yamaha dealer) I ended going with Eckholm LW arms.

I bought one to replace one my wife kinked. The reinforcements are now where near the size of the oem units. Maybe they upgauge the entire arm... For general purpose they are probably ok. But if your a hard rider I would go with the oem.

I bought those aftermarkets once. They look pretty much identical to stock dimension-wise, but they have less reinforcement on the backside, and they are much thinner-walled. For general riding they are find, but after some jumping the part where the shocks attached were pushed out a little bit. Like i said, most likely will be just fine for general riding as long as you aren't really beating on them.

Thanks everyone. I ride fairly hard so maybe I'll just spend the cash on a good set.Maddogs700srx said:I have seen those before. Look decent, however the place that sells them suggested I still went with OE because I ride pretty hard.(he is not a yamaha dealer) I ended going with Eckholm LW arms.
Maddogs700srx where did you get those arms, and how much?

From someone on here, he is a Eckholm rep. It may be KBXSRX or something like that.

Thanks I bid on them! The one good one is the one I need.
However don't be fooled by the "cosmetic dent" that is how mine started (much less severe) but its now turning into a pretzel after a few hundred hard miles. Looks like once the structure is compromised they go fast!
