I was out riding last night and noticed the sled was idling high. 3500 rpm. Come to find out the oil cable popped out of the thumb throttle and was holding the the throttle open. My question is, does the oil pump still distribute any oil when something like this happens? Who knows how many miles i ran like this, i'm sure it was at least a couple if not five. Thx

it would still get the same oil as at idle. if it was pulled in that the oil cable was extended all the way, then it had full throttle oil all the time. either way it still got some oil at least.
