So the throttle cable is a lose as it can go and still get full throttle.
so I don't think the tors switch is the problem but not sure

but sometime the Rpms hang around 3500 4000 before it goes back to idle and it acts like the tors is not adjusted rite

Sometimes i flip the choke and it knocks it down to idle

some one mention some screws on the carbs needin a turn out
but can't find the posts on it

Sounds like a simple idle hang. Not as common on the SXR as the viper but does happen. Cute is to keep idle down around 1200 and turn the fuel screws out a bit.
 
R u talking about the small screw on the bottom of each carb

And the sled is a srx
And I think the idle is around 1700
If it matters

The fuel screws that are mentioned are on the bottom of the carbs and are adjusted with a flat screwdriver. They're a pain to do because unless you have a set of remote adjusters the only way to access them is to take the carbs off and flip them upside down. To gauge where your at now at what you should adjust them to start by turning them in until LIGHTLY seated, obviously counting the turns,and from there go about a quarter to a half turn more than what you had out. So if your at say 1 and a half turns out,go 1 3/4 or even 2. It's hard to judge where you need to set them because weather will play a part in your settings too. This is one of those settings that tends to be set and left because it's time consuming to do.

How many turns should the screws be out at stock settings

Had the Yamaha shop around here rebuild carbs last year
They have the screws out around 1 turn
 
That should be a good starting point. It'll tell you if your headed in the right direction with the idle hang. You may notice a slight increase in gas use though.

Fuel screws are just under 1 1/2 turns out
I set the slack so I can get full throttle and the gap is more than 3 mm
Idle is at 1800
The button on the switch moves

Still acts like the tors switch is wrong

What should I look at next

If I keep the throttle pivot pushed in it will rev the way it's supposed to
As soon as I let it pivot the way is is designed to it activates the tors
Help!

then the tors switch in the throttle is worn/bad
