I have seen some posts on here where a switch from standard bulbs into LED bulbs are being made and may or may not impact electrical system, however my question would be is there an impact from going from standard bulbs to say a blue halogen bulb..
if the wattage is the same on the bulb, it has no difference on the system. i have gone 25-50 watts higher on the bulb with no adverse breakage before on a head lamp.

i ran an 85/100watt in mine (single bulb with aftermarket stator) before switching to hids.
