Yes, you can, in fact it is a very popular thing to do, there are a TON of success stories with turboing modern fi car engines.

You most certainly can. The only difference is that you will probably need to adjust the settings in the computer to compensate for the added flow of a turbo.
Im sure that Yamaha will offer some sort of computer program for doing this, they've offered it for the R1 and R6 for years, I see no reason why they wont do the same for the sleds.

fuel injection is easy to turbo. you can get a fairly accurate mixture with a properly calibrated fmu.

If its a mass air system it will be a lot more forgiving than speed density. Any idea what it is?
