This might be a dumb question
...I have a 99 Phazer getting ready to winterize ...
Is the a simple way to change belt ..or remove the belt ...
is there a simple trick ...something i dont know..
But i can seem to just slip the old one off ...Please help...............................Thanks in advance

1. Set the parking brake.
2. Rotate the secondary so it opens up and shove the belt down to the shaft.
3. Slip the belt around the primary and pop the belt out of the secondary.
4. It’s beer:30.

Its tough because on the Phazer its backwards so you can push on the helix.

You can also use your fingers to start the belt riding up on the side of the secondary while you spin the clutches. Once you get it on top it will force the bottom of the belt into the secondary so you can slip it off the top. I have to do this method on my mountain max that has a silver secondary spring because I can not push that spring open easily.
