...I have a 99 Phazer getting ready to winterize ...
This might be a dumb question
Is the a simple way to change belt ..or remove the belt ...
is there a simple trick ...something i dont know..
But i can seem to just slip the old one off ...Please help...............................Thanks in advance

- Set Parking Brake
- Place left hand on top of belt at top side of secondary
- Place right hand on helix
- Push down and back on belt while pushing in and clockwise on helix
- Secondary should open and pushing belt down will hold it open
- Pull bottom of belt off secondary and then off primary
Alternate method for muscle bound guys with good backs
- Once belt guard is removed - grab belt between clutches
- Lift sled off ground with belt and drop quickly stopping before it hits the ground
- Secondary will pop right open and belt will hold it
- Pull bottom of belt off secondary and then off primary
