Yamaha ET340 clutch problem

Hi
Have some problem with the primary clutch on my Yamaha ET340. After a cold start it will run good for a few kilometers of deep snow driving then it starts to jam and the engine "dies" on idling speed.
Did someone have an idea what can possibly be wrong?

i would start by blowing out the clutchs to remove the belt dust from over the years. if it still does it then, you need to replace all the bushings in the clutch. yamaha used to make a kit to do this listed in the parts breakdown under axuiliary clutch if i remeber right.

My little brother just had catastrophic failure on his recently acquired beater 340 Enticer primary clutch . Good clutch and / or parts to rebuild them are getting hard to find.
