I ordered one for this sled I'm working on and just thought I would get some feed back about it and which setting is best for all around riding .

What length is your track? I read it works better the longer the track is..

i installed the transfer inhancement kit on a 2002 viper with a hartman 141 kit.....this thing totally rocks with this kit....the transfer is incredible and controlable with different lengths of strap....took some tuning but now have it dialed in nicely....

just got it in the mail

Well I've been tearing my sled down to fix all the little shit the previous cheap *** owner did wrong or didn't do at all and will put the transfer kit in soon . Anyone have recommendations for the setting with the stock 141" track ? all experience on settings would sure be helpful . I ride both trail and mountains , I need a good controlling all around ride . THX

I just put one on my Mountain Max last week. Before, on ungroomed trails, with very frequent, nasty moglus, it beat the tar out of me when the coupling engaged. Works much better on this now, can carry much more speed. I haven't noticed a difference on more open trails. It does lift the skis much more off the line, and as of right now, I'm not sure how well I like it on climbing. I think I just need to get it dialed in and get used to it, I'm new to mountain riding.

I ride with 2 more experienced riders that have put it in, they love it. Looks like the front limiter wants to be cranked up pretty tight.

got it installed

well it's in with the jets and spacers....... what a difference !!! I need to do a little clutch work and get rid of the worthless Comet primary the previous owner installed . But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel . The transfer is great ! Pulls the ski's off the ground all the way to 60 .... LOL . I also need to adjust the suspension some and play a little with it this weekend but so far it's great and I would suggest this to anyone with 136" or longer ! Now to do the other mods and get a P-85 on the front..........oh yeah . Can't wait

i loved my p85 a lot for overall performance, but they dont last NEAR as long between rebuilds as the yamaha primaries. They start to wear things out a lot quicker. They are very efficient on top end of the shift curve

transfer kit........opinion since I've been riding with it

This is a MUST !!! I love it and now that I have it I can't believe people live without them ! The transfer is AWESOME , and in powder made all the difference . I ride with a RMK 700 2001 and the owner of that sled is asking to ride mine because he likes the transfer and grunt it has.......LOL . Heavier of course but if anyone has a 136" or bigger I would highly reccomend it ! I know they say that it's not very effective on shorter than 141" tracks but after using it I can't see why it wouldn't help alot over the cheesy transfer rods . I have my limiter straps tightend up 2/3s also . If I was to loosen them I'd get more transfer....... so run out and get one it's the best 60.00 I've ever spent on a sled !
