ET 340 TR rubber plugs

Is the service manual correct; is there a rubber plug only over the choke/enricher/starter tube? This is a noted conundrum in the Phazers which have the same basic type of carb. I know the plug position for the PZ, but this sled (86 ET340 TRK) likely has a different configuration.

I know this is an old post but here is a picture of my 86 et340 carb showing the rubber plugs, hopefully it helps someone in the future.

Thanks man, that's where I ended up with them. I think on my 85s as well.
