It's snowing


So jealous, been cold enough here to do it, just hasn’t yet.
Sled is still in pieces, getting nervous I won’t have it ready in time !
 
Taken today on my ATV ride,last time i saw these critters was in fall of 2014,the following winter was a late starter but was excellent the latter half.. Sep 26 2018 (2).jpg
 
We are supposed to get above normal snowfall this time around. The downside is we are also to be getting one of the coldest winters ever. Talking - 40 to 45 C in the Canadian Prairies. That is no fun .
 
Well we will finally be getting snow starting tonight into the week. Temps will be colder and snow will stay.

Bluemonster been here a while and quite appropriate to inform him and others that I've given in on sledding here. No snow for too many years. When is does (6-8 inches) its gone in a week or two. The sun melts exposed areas quick.

Hence I have sold my Venture. Yep I held out for a few years believing in the weather man but he was wrong. Also for the last 3 years at least 99% of the trails on OFSC were RED all winter. People in the lake effect areas get snow but trail show closed. I like to ride from where I am and not trailer for 3-5 hrs to get to trails with snow.

The Venture 600 is gone and I've bought a Yamaha Wolverine !!! SxS now to run trails etc.
