what is a gutted airbox, what is taken out? I know for my srx they are putting uni pod filters in the airbox, but what will those filters replace? willit make a difference in sound? performance? They say they must do this to fit my srx boost bottle with the v force reeds. They meaning my dealer. let me know

if you gut the airbox, you will have to rejet. Removing the inner dividers....I see no gain in this but I may be wrong.

it is my dealer that is doing it, he said the boost bottle and v force reeds wont all fit so he has to put pod filters. are they putting those in the airbox or taking off the air box? let me know what you think

sounds like the box will be removed....and the filters will be added to the carbs with the bx off

its going to be louder, thats for sure....if its jetted right you might see a few hp
