Long story short...I was cleaning the carbs on my dads 2001 phazer mountain light, it had not been started in 8 years, EVERYTHING was gummed up and stuck! I ended up snapping off the "ear" that the float pin goes through. I tried to jb weld it but I must not have held as it is pumping fuel out of it so I can only assume the float is stuck down. My question is will the earlier phazer 2 carbs work on it? all I really need is the actual carb body I can swap everything else off my carbs. Thanks.
Same thing happened to me, drilled the post on both sides of the break with a tiny drill bit, put a small pin in it, and used a 2 part epoxy... That was in 1998, still working today!
