Looking to buy a used 1991 Phazer LT. Stars easy. Idles well. However, when I jacked the rear up and applied throttle, it seemed to take a considerable amount of throttle to get track spinning. Also, when I let off the throttle all the way, the track stopped spinning very quickly. Not much free spin at all. Almost like the brake was on, but it wasn’t. Track was very tight. Very little sag. Could that be the issue? Something else? Any input and troubleshooting ideas much appreciated. I want to take another look at it tomorrow. Thanks.

time to check all the bearings, chaincase oil and track tension. on that era sled i like to tighten the track so that it just stops drooping below the slider plastic in the middle when in the air. in the field i just tighten it until the track stops ratcheting on the drivers.
