I see the 06's mention this, but is this an actual different chassis? Do both the 3 and 4 cyl 06's have the deltaboxII?
what are the differences between the old chassis (deltabox?) and the new one? I guess I'm trying to figure out if it is more than a handlebar riser and taller seat, or if there are real dimension changes in motormounts, gastank mounts, etc.
Thanks

Its mine understanding that they did move part of the frame forward to let the bars move ahead as far as they did. the gas tank and headlight assembly are moved ahead too so I'm guess there is more changes then we know. I'm going to try and get some good pics next week of stuff like this. ===SRXSRULE===

I read about a new casting method used for the DB II that allows thinner walls in non strutural areas, which allows it to be lighter.

the frame is all new, the frame is changed by using a new diecast aluminum frame section, (back in the rear for steering post location etc., this moves the steering forward and the tunnel is also a new stamping, much wider almost straight running boards with a new press thru traction grip punch thru. Everything possible has been done to place the weight of the sled in the center, including the rider, you are much more over top of the engine now. When you guys go to a show, have them remove the body panels and you will see all the major changes, you can also tell by the new airbox location, dont miss out on seeing the sleds in person.
