Well I tore this thing apart awhile back and can't seem to find the spacer that goes on before bottom gear on my 2001 srx 700. Anyone have the width measurement of one? I have 2 in my hand now and don't know which one to use

Easy way to figure it out.
Both upper and lower collars have o rings on the inside of them.
Upper collar is wider than the lower.

Actually, the one you are talking about is 32, 31 goes on the back of the chain case, and does have a o-ring in it.
#20 is the top collar
#32 is the lower
Those do not have the o-rings
Wider one on top

Really think it 31 man. The part # for 31is the picture I posted from Amazon. #32 isn't the spacer I need...it even shows 31 being directly behind bottom gear. I've already installed the spacer with o ring as that goes in the inside cover. I was really hoping to find the width info of #31 so I could be sure

#32 is in the top of the chaincase anyways..#30 is on bottom. I'm definitely looking for #31

What I said is correct.
The o ring is right next to 31.
31 goes back side of chaincase.
32 is the part you need, it is the LOWER collar.
Follow the lines...

View attachment 64335 here's a picture of the spacer and there's no o ring...
That is the correct spacer that goes between the bottom gear and bearing on the inside of the chaincase….#31 on the parts diagram.
The bottom spacer is thinner then the top gear spacer.
