Bottom gear on 01 srx goes what direction? Longer neck going in or facing out. I thought it faced in but the stamp for # in on that side.
I thought the collar part goes in.. best way is put it in the way you think and see if the chain is straight.
I figured the same but wanted a second opinion
I always install the gears without the chain and then put a straight edge on the face of the gears to ensure they are in line with each other.
