Well, I finally figured out the no spark issue but now I can't get fuel to the carb. Here's what I've done so far. Put three gallons of fresh fuel in it. Disconnected the fuel line to the carb and pulled the cord 30ish times I get no fuel out of the line. I blew through the fuel line and could here air bubbling in the tank. I also sucked and got fuel through that way. I like the smell of fuel but not the taste so much. The vacuum line to the crankcase is hooked up to the fuel pump and is pliable and seems intact but it was just a quick checkover. I've owned at least a dozen Yamaha sleds from 79- 01 and have never replaced a fuel pump. My question is. What is the best way to trouble shoot this problem before replacing the pump? It just seems weird that my stator and fuel pump would go out at the same time! Thanks.

out of curiosity what was it?

I believe the pump wouldn't prime, maybe airlocked? I literally blew in the gas tank and pushed gas to the carb and it immediately started. Lol.
