Ok guys I lost my notes from last years Viper with CPR triple pipes setup. I bought the heavy hitters 48 gram base weights and primary and secondary springs from Jeff to run with the pipes I just forgot a couple of key things. 1.) When I install the black/silver spring with the stock 47 degree helix what twist should I use? 2.) I forgot what size bolts and washers if any at all to put through the two holes on the weights and I recall I lightened up whatever allen bolt he had me put in the heel because I wasn't shifting out to 9,100 RPM (I'm a bit heavy at 230#'s). Any help would be appreciated since I'm sure Jeff's a busy dude and I don't want to call and bother him if I don't have to. I'm running Yamadoggers jetting setup with Tempaflow installed in airbox below the shelf.
Mains - 165, 165, 167.5
Needles - 3.5, 4, 4
Pilots - 45, 45, 47.5
Fuel Screws - all 2 1/4 turns out

Thanks in advance for any help guys ;)!

twist is at 70 and it has the 7/16 bolt with 2 thick wshers under it, small allen in the heel, i had to lighten mine to

Viper with CPR pipes and head mod, 9100-9200 RPMs
#1 - 1/4 allen
#2 - 7/16 steel bolt with 1 thick washer or you may have to go with 2 thin washers
#3 - empty

70 deg. on the twist.

I would think that 2 thick in #2 would be to much not to say that it is wrong. Just don't think it will handle that much weight with the CPR head mod. Stock head maybe. It looks like it works for sxrsist but it doesn't work for me.

Wolfman.

Burner,
I hear ya...Jeff's a good guy that's why I buy my stuff from him, I just figgered I could get some different ideas from guys on here as to how they were clutching their CPR piped Vipers. I did get out Sunday and did some testing/tuning. Hit a high of 124mph on the dream o' meter before the rains came. Today I installed a stock helix with .125" off the face to get into overdrive and I know that this means nothing but I saw 147mph running it on the stand at 9100 rpms.

where were you testing........you weren't the goofballs IN the rain at Harmony?????

Should've come over to the sandbar, we had the stalker out, playing. A friend lives right by Harmony, he called when it was pouring and there were 3 guys out there running back andforth the hole time it was raining.

mine were setup the way i stated, but i couldnt pull them either,i will try putting in the 2 thin washers
