I have a cobra 15" shield for my SRX 700, i just want to trim off the top part that is flipped straight up(less than 2"), had any body ever tried to cut a windsheild, i thought i would just use my dremmel to cut, i like how it's flare on the sides but its a little to high and buckles at high speeds..........Reaper
My Bravo has a cut down windshield...I didnt do it but it was done using a dremmel type tool. Make sure you use the right bit so you dont melt it. Mine turned out fine. Good luck.

I have a scratched windshield on my 01' SXR that I cut 4" off of. I used a drywall side cutting bit in my dremel tool. I measured it and taped it off then used a sharpie to mark the lines. I then sanded and paintedthe back side to hide most the scratches and tried to make a cool "X" games "X" in the middle. That did not work so well but I have used it for two seasons now and I have not had too many negative remarks. Let em see if I got a photo of it. Found one, this is before I completed the install of my 6" riser. Doug

thats all I did was re-use it. You will have to cut it to length as your new one will most likely end up shorter. I used rubber contact cement and it worked great.
