SKid recommendations

I think I want to get rid of the stock skid and upgrade to a SC 3 or 4 or maybe an M10, I see the apex skid will fit as well and the RX 1?

I can get the ski don't skids cheaper than the others and was wondering whos installed the sc 3 or 4?

Major modifications other than drilling new mounting locations and adding support bracket? fit and function?

I've tried search function but I don't get much.

I'm willing to sacrifice some speed for trail riding comfort as I'm finding conditions are never really ideal (hard packed flat trail) for the SRX so I have to do something as it's hard my back etc .

the 03-04 rx skids would bolt right in as they are the long travel version of the proaction. the 05 rx and 06-10 apex skid is the mono and would be the better ride.
