Let me know what you guys think ?
Or if you can make sence of my explanation of what I'm thinking of attempting to do.
Want to raise front end 3-4'' for ground clearance. /( My SRX700 has a 05 Vector 151'' skid )
I have Ohlins front shocks so dont want to do the "shock inversion thing".
Want to increasing the length of the ski column with an extension, above the stopper & ski saddle.
-Cut existing post off bottom of Ski Column, leaving lower "ski Stopper support bracket" a separate piece now.
-Weld a 3"-4" - "H"-like extension to the bottom Ski Column post.
-Now weld this extension too the "ski Stopper support bracket", the Stopper will do the same as before on the saddle.
I know my travel would not increase but ground clearance would !
Has anyone tried this before???

Viper trailing arms are taller and bolt on without a lot of hassle. We also did one where we just cut the shock mount off the arm and flipped it over and welded it on. Raised the front a couple or three inches and cost nothing but time. Couple of other options for you
