6800 miles.
Clutch side bent rod,cyc not good, piston is gone.
Not sure what to do.

the only thing you can do is find used crank and start over from there. A srx bottomend from 2000-02 will also interchange into the viper so that will open up some more possibilities. More then likely the viper case will be pressure cracked where the rod made contact to it on bottom.

Also so the cranks are the same between the srx and viper?

the viper case will likely be pressure cracked on bottom when you remove it so it will have to be tig welded or replaced with good used. the srx crank is a circle crank and the viper is a porkchop crank but they will interchange with each other and it wont make any power difference in the engine which crank is used. the 2000-02 srx cranks interchange with any year viper crank. the engine cases are also the same, 2000-02 srx will directly interchange with any year viper.
