What is the stock gearing on an SX-R??

I would like to know what the gearing and clutching specs on an SX-R. I use a 03 Mountain Max with 2"/141" and would like to find some more top end out of it. It is quite slow.

SX 700R is 22/39

When did they chabge it? all the ones I had were 23-40

year 2000 was first year of the 22/39 instead of 23/40

yeah I had too check too, not often I get stumped on something as simple as a gear ratio.
