I've got a viper mtn with a 151" track on it. Motor is stock besides Spi pistons and a can. How much different is my clutching setup going to be vs the stock 144" track? Can I run same weights and springs with the 151 as I did with the 144?

What gears are you running?
Honestly I know when I switched from a 144 to 151 I did gear it down but I cant remember what I went to. Not much lower geared than stock. What gears are you running?

It mite be fine just the way you have it. You really won't know till you get some seat time on it.
Thanks, I'll ride it with same clutching I would use with 144 and see how it does. I can always use lighter rivets. I know mtn vipers came with 8dn -10 weights but I have an extra set of 8ek-00 weights from a short track, what's the implications of using the 8ek weights? It mite be fine just the way you have it. You really won't know till you get some seat time on it.

As Vinny said, you will need some real world seat time. We will go from there as far as clutching goes.

The 8dn-10’s are better in my opinion.
