Around 3500 the engine goes into a oscillating mode like on a rev limiter. Believe it's carb problem, been there before and fixed, but 2 long to remember. Just happens on occasion. Nail it all ok. ??? Tks Jim

I'll give a X2 on the TORS. Throttle cable too tight or worn/dirty switches. Can bypass to see if that is the issue by unplugging the 2 bullet connectors going to carb rack and plugging the 2 on the wiring harness side into each other. If that makes it go away you know it's a TORS issue. I would fix it at that point as it's a safety device.

"TORS" Understand what you suggest. Slow idle 2000 With slack cabe. Around 3500 when this occurs the cable will be tight. Will conduct the test you have suggested. Thanks
