Looking to put a P-85 on my 96 Vmax 600 XT, clutch I am looking at has 50 g weights and a blue spring. Looking to see if this would work. Clutch is off a 600 XLT Triple Polaris, both have a 30 MM taper.

Those are stock XLT weights and spring. HP is comparable between the two engines so it should be a good start.

My hope is that the peak rpm won’t be too high (last 8200), my primary went out last season and Polaris clutches sadly to say are cheaper to replace internal components

When I bought my MM it had a p85 on it. I never have looked whats in for weights and springs tho. Swapped to a yammy when i piped it because no one could tell me what to change and I didn't want to mess around for a year.
