well, i tried the heat thing and the darn things start to burn and still won't budge. i can't damage them because i've sold them to someone else and i want them to get them in good shape so anyone else have any other ideas? does anyone know how much a dealer will charge me to take the axle in and press off the four stock drivers? thansk!!!

Find someone with a press, it's the only good way to get them off without damaging them.

I agree a press is the only easy way to do it.
I could be wrong here but i thought you were not supposed to reuse drivers.
It is my understanding that they are a press fit and once they are pressed off the shaft they are junk. could be wrong but i am pretty sure this is good info.

might have some problems with movement/internal ratcheting if they are reused...

Last year I had my drivers pressed off and turned around and trued and did not experience any problems. That was with an 800 SRX just for racing. May be a different story this year when it is a 1000.

i thought about doing that once with a set that looked good on one side, but was worn on the other, never did it though
