In changing the needle position on a Viper, the E-clip shot off and down the drain. I need it to ride tomorrow, but all the snowmobile shops are closed and will be closed tomorrow.

Any suggestions for a safe, temporary solution to be able to ride tomorrow until I can get a new E-clip on Monday?

Anybody in Laramie know where the little bugger might be purchaseable tonight or tomorrow?

maybe a epoxy?

if the needle falls you burn down.
how bad do you want to ride?

try an autoparts store

maybe take a thin tiny washer cut a slit in it to push it around needle and try and squeeze it back together alittle bit with some pliers untill u can get a new one? It could work. Maybe try like a hardware store see if they have any clips.

Try a hobby shop if you have one nearby. They have all kinds of little parts like that for remote controled vehicles.

Home Depot's in Canada have them; I would assume that US Home Depots would have them too (in the nut and bolt section). Most automotive supply shops would likely have them aswell. They are not plated, will rust.
Good luck

Where are you gonna ride in the Brainerd lakes area? With the weather we've been having around Backus, there can't be much for snow left on the trails.

This would have been for riding on the Snowy Range of Wyoming today. I'll be back in Brainerd in a couple of days. It's a shame to live in Central Minnesota and have to drive 1000 miles to go snowmobiling, isn't it?

you only had to come 120miles north to find LOTS of snow, I've been getting suck trying to play of trail on the Iron Range.
