A friend of mine has an 00 venture with E start and reverse.
Is it possible to unbolt the entire chain case from chassis and slide out of the way like you can on the older pogo stick ventures?
Or do you need to disassemble the entire case to remove drive shaft?
Also, Will a drive shaft from a 2001 SRX work on this venture with e start and reverse?

you have to pull the cover to take the bolt out on the drive axle no matter what as in needs to come off to remove the chaincase on that model.
as to the axle, the updated one for the venture is the exact same part # as the 01 srx one you want to use.
