Change starter on a 2003 sx700 help

Bought this sled, started fine at sellers. Brought it home, just spins, never engages. I suppose it's the Bendix so, What starter do I want and brand and how tough is it? to get to and replace.

have you tried lubing up the bendix as it is exposed on those?

i know on a viper you had to almost pull the motor to put the starter in.

No, I didn't know it is exposed. I'll try that for sure

Check battery voltage.. make sure it has enough to throw the bendix out
