Hey guys, im noticing my SRX440 is very boggy when i hit the throttle right up to 4000 rpm if i rev it up slowly to 4000 rpm then mash the throttle it's awesome, any ideas? too rich on the pilot jets maybe? im running AAen race pipes and 40mm taper bore carbs bored to 44mm (as per aaen specs).

Are you sure it is not a lean bog?? Might not be getting enough fuel on the pilots?? Is the belt sucking down into the secondary too quickly causing the bog until your speed comes up and then whammo!!, goes like heck!!??? Secondary spring worn?? I hope these ideas didn't sound too dumb, good luck!

I would also check belt deflection. If the belt is to tight you can get a short term low end bog.

right on, thanks, I know it's set up rich untill i can test it, my rear suspension parts finally arrived, picking them up tonight, hope they will let me finish off my rear skid and then it's test drive time.....can't wait.
