Stock sled no mods.
Very noticeable and not pleasant on the ears. Rode my buddies and didn't notice it at all on his.
Don't see any noticeable cracks, joint leaks etc.
Ideas?

All of mine had it. I would wear a ear plug in right ear. The full face helmets seem to make it worse.

When I wrapped my pipe, the sound was lower and ....... well... different. It didn't RESONATE nearly as bad.
I know the irritating sound you mention.

Stock heat shield won't dull the sound like a wrap would...but if you do a wrap be aware that jetting will need to be checked.
As refined as the rest of the sled is its disappointing about this noise

I loosened my secondary spring twist from 70 degrees (stock) to 30 degrees, which got me out of that 6k rpm "drone zone" which occurs during normal trail riding
be aware you will sacrifice a TEENY bit of response.....
